Firefly

My favorite part of this drawing is the illumination of it. With the glowing pixie, the sparkles everywhere and the sunlight shining in, it creates a very luminescent tone. I find the dress and the hair color matches the surroundings and ambiance well. The moss covering the stones and the placement of the stones is another interesting detail that I enjoyed.
I found that the originality of this piece wasn't at its best since I've seen many pictures where a girl or boy is sitting with their knees up to their chest, their hand outstretched towards a pixie. The background was rather original, however, which I thought was well done.
I found the color scheme was beautiful with the greens and shining yellows but then you see the wings and they don't fit in at all. The dark purple hue was not what I was expecting when I saw this so perhaps a more regular color pattern should be used next time.
The lighting also could have been a little better. The back of her head seemed lighter than her face which is odd since the glow of the pixie should have illuminated her face to make it brighter than everything else.
I also found the expression on the model's face to be at war with the rest of the picture. The surroundings say that it could be enchanting and mesmerizing but that is not what is portrayed on her face at the moment.
Other than those errors, this was a good picture. I hope I helped you improve.
